Summary Of Biondi's Case
In November 2010, Biondi was sentenced to Life Without Parole for the capital murder of Yvonne Sanchez. The incident stems from an ongoing feud with the victim’s husband. On the night of the murder, Biondi and a couple of his coworkers decided to confront Guillermo Rubio about money owed for borrowed electricity.
Biondi and his young friends went to Mr. Rubio’s apartment. Biondi claims that one of his friends forced open the door, ran inside while Biondi stayed outside the apartment door. Biondi said he heard gunshots and he fled.
Post Conviction Remedies
Biondi’s fiance’ Dadena reached out to our office requesting post-conviction habeas investigation. Our office got a copy of Biondi’s court records, and after interviewing a couple of witnesses, we plan to help Biondi gather evidence to show that he did not go inside the apartment and fired the fatal shots that killed Ms. Sanchez.
